About Me
My name is Madeline, and I am a sixteen. I started this blog as a sort of journal to openly express my views on social issues I am surrounded by, but often don't get to have a word on. I will do my best to keep my opinions educated and objective, as I don't share my thoughts with the intent of offending other people; I do this merely because I personally find it interesting to read other people's opinions on social issues, whether I agree with them or not, and decided that I would like to have my own input.

"The Jazzy Philosopher...?"
Yes, you read it correctly. I will be honest; I spent maybe 5-10 minutes trying to think of a name for my blog, and after sitting in my armchair staring at my computer screen trying to formulate a clever and thought-provoking title for my blog, I thought, "screw it." I then proceeded to use a facetious title that would make all of the compleat intellects on the internet scoff at my blog title and continue scrolling to find a more scholarly website. Basically, I sat here pondering on a good name when I looked at my trumpet lying on the floor and thought, "The Jazzy...Philosopher?" Me being a jazz trumpeter with a sassy personality, I settled with that, because admit it; how many jazzy philosophers do you know? (I'm probably going to read this ten years from now and facepalm at what I wrote)

Just to prove to you what a deep thinker I am, here is a picture of me looking out a window contemplatively with a black & white filter (because black and white makes you look deep)
